ct flight from most places in the Pacific Rim, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and the west coast of the USA.
It’s also easy to get around the rest of New Zealand, with more than 320 daily domestic flights to 19 cities around the country.

AIRPORT TO VENUE
The IALP 2022 conference will take place at the AOTEA Centre. Located in Auckland CBD, its easily accessed by taxi, bus and in walking distance to many local hotels and sights.
AIRPORT TO CITY CENTRE
Auckland’s international and domestic airport terminals are about 45 minutes from downtown Auckland. Regular shuttles, transfers, private transport and bus services are all available 24 hours, seven days a week. Located just 15km from downtown Auckland there are many options to transport you into the city. The i-Site (Tourism Office) at Auckland Arrivals hall can provide infomration on bus schedules, shuttle, purchase travel sims, hop cards etc…

Buy Online or at Airport Ticket Kiosks at both International and Domestic kerbside bus stops. SkyBus also accepts AT HOP cards

Auckland Airport licenses specific taxi and shuttle companies to ensure airport visitors and travelers receive a high standard of service. All taxi and shuttle companies are able to drop you off at the airport, however only licensed companies are able to pick you up from the designated taxi ranks at the terminal buildings.Taxi and shuttle ranks are located outside the arrivals area (door 8) at the international terminal and outside door 4 at the domestic terminal. Just turn up at the terminal ranks – taxis and shuttles are always available. Auckland Airport charges $5 per pick up and $3 per drop off, inclusive in the fixed fare rate.
Rates range from $40 – $75 for a fixed rate transfer one-way.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CARD
- HOP Card
This travel card can be purchased at the i-Site kiosk in the arrivals area of the international terminal. A reusable prepay smart card for travel on trains, ferries and buses around Auckland. (excludes SkyBus bus services and Waiheke ferry services). Check out AT HOP fares.
